Admin Support uses cooperative and resourceful efforts to assist in the seamless operation of the Finance Department by supporting the Finance directors, managers and staff with their HR and administration needs.

Admin Support completes the following tasks with efficiency and a professional, customer-driven focus:
Human Resources: Finance HR and Training Manger manages all HR issues within the Finance department by advising on recruitment, termination, supervision, training, evaluation and labour relations to supervisors and senior managers. She also communicates Finance policies with employees and work closely with the central HR and Health Safety Department to ensure compliance with agreements and to maintain best practices within Finance.
Finance Training: We manageFinance Training Program on a variety of topics, from basic overviews, to full, online update Peoplesoft FMS access. We are striving to ensure that UBC employees have the necessary understanding and skills required to effectively perform their job-related duties and obtain maximum value from the existing financial systems and tools.
Administration: Our team can assist Finance employees on:
Project Management: Some members in the Admin Support group supervise and lead special projects, such as the Finance Open House and the Finance Customer Service Survey, as requested by the Finance directors.
